Filtering Printer Maps (Windows)
Filtering the Maps List
When you're working with multiple printer maps, the filter feature helps you quickly narrow down the list to find exactly what you need. Just use the blank filter field above the maps list to search.
How the Filter Works
Start typing in the filter field, and watch as the maps list dynamically updates to show only matches. The filter is pretty smart about what it searches - it looks at both the map name and any tags that have been assigned to the map, giving you more ways to find what you're looking for.
The search isn't case-sensitive, so you can type in any combination of upper and lowercase letters. The filter looks for your search string anywhere in the map name or tags - it doesn't have to be at the beginning. For example, if you search for "PLAN," you'll get results like "PLANET INDUSTRIES," "Floor Plan #1," "Building Plan - East," and any other map where "PLAN" appears in the name or tags. This flexibility makes it easy to find maps even when you only remember part of the name.
