Filtering Printer Maps (Mac)

Filtering the Maps List

When you're working with multiple printer maps, finding the right one quickly can save you time. The maps list includes a filter field that makes it easy to narrow down your options and locate exactly the map you need.

How Filtering Works

To filter the maps list, just start typing in the blank filter field above the list. As you type, the app dynamically updates to show only maps that match your search criteria. The filter is smart about what it searches - it looks at both the map name and any tags that have been assigned to the map.

The search isn't case-sensitive, so you can type in lowercase or uppercase - it doesn't matter. The filter also looks for your search string anywhere in the map name or tags, not just at the beginning. For example, if you search for "PLAN," you'll get results like "PLANET INDUSTRIES," "Floor Plan #1," "Building Plan - East," and so on. This makes it really flexible and helps you find maps even when you can't remember the exact name.
